Violet Kochendoefer
Violet participated in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps for the United States of America. She joined the American Red Cross and was the director of camps for the 315th Troop Carrier Group for D-Day in England. She had a very tough job and stated that she learned vital information in the army.
Charlotte Kerr Boissonneau
Charlotte Kerr Boissonneau and her husband, Ray Boissonneau were the first couple to enter the military from Portland, Maine. Charlotte enlisted for the Marine Corps Women's Reserve. She was stationed in Arlington, Virginia where she spended most of her life. She was a very successful Marine Corps woman.
